This is a small company and this is a short policy. We collect three things: anonymous analytics about how this site is used, the emails you send us, and the records we have to keep about clients we invoice. We do not sell any of it.
Analytics on this site
We use PostHog to count visits and see which pages get read. It records things like the page you are on, roughly where in the world you are, your browser and device type, and how you arrived. We use it to decide what to write more of. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not run advertising, and we do not connect it to any advertising network.
PostHog sets a cookie in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. If your browser sends a “do not track” signal, or you block the script, the site still works — nothing on it depends on analytics.
Email you send us
There is no form on this site. When you write to info@dosnombre.com we receive whatever you put in the message — your address, your name if you sign it, and whatever you tell us about your business. We use it to reply to you and to do the work you are asking about. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful and then delete it.
Client and billing records
If you become a client we hold what we need to run the engagement and get paid: contact details, the written scope, invoices, and the payment records Stripe gives us. We never see or store your full card number — that goes directly to Stripe, which is the payment processor.
We also hold whatever materials you give us to do the work — access details, brand assets, files. We use those only for your engagement and we return or delete them when it ends, if you ask.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It reaches these companies only because they run part of our business:
- PostHog — the analytics on this site
- Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs
- Stripe — processes payments and issues invoices
- Our email provider — carries and stores our mail
- Our accountant and accounting software — for tax and books
Each of them holds it under its own privacy policy and only for what we use them for. We would also disclose information if the law required it, which has not happened.
How long we keep things
- Invoices and financial records: seven years, because tax rules require it. We cannot delete these on request while that period is running.
- Analytics: retained by PostHog on a rolling basis, and not tied to your name.
- Email and client materials: as long as the relationship is live, then deleted when they are no longer useful or when you ask.
Asking us to delete something
Write to info@dosnombre.com and tell us what you want. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it within 30 days, and we will tell you if something has to stay — which in practice only means invoices inside the seven-year window.
You can opt out of the analytics on this site at any time by blocking scripts or using your browser's tracking protection. Nothing breaks.
Children
This site is not for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your details, we will email you.
